About The Alabaster Home
We believe that a beautiful home is not defined by how much you spend or which trends you follow. It is defined by how a space makes you feel — calm, elevated, at ease.
The Alabaster Home was created by a small team of design enthusiasts who share a common obsession: the pursuit of timeless simplicity. We are not architects or interior designers by training. We are, quite simply, people who believe that the spaces we inhabit shape the way we live, think, and rest.
What guides us
Our philosophy rests on three principles:
- Light over clutter. We are drawn to spaces that breathe — rooms where natural light softens every surface and where objects are chosen with intention, not impulse.
- Texture over ornament. We favour materials that age gracefully: plaster walls, natural stone, worn wood, brushed metal. The quiet luxury of things that feel good to touch.
- Restraint over excess. We believe that the most memorable rooms are often the simplest. A single well-placed object can speak more loudly than a dozen decorative pieces.
What you’ll find here
Every image we share is selected because it moves us. We look for interiors that convey a sense of calm, light, and authenticity. No flashy staging, no unattainable luxury — just real beauty that feels within reach.
Our team
We are a small editorial collective. We do not publish individual names or faces because we believe the content should speak for itself. What matters is the curation, not the curator.
Why we do this
We created The Alabaster Home because we needed a place to collect and share the kind of beauty that is often overlooked in the noise of social media. If our gallery helps you see your own home with fresh eyes — or simply brings you a moment of visual peace — then we have done our job.
Thank you for being here.
